What are your opening hours?
The quarry is open 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 7am to 11.00am Saturdays. (During the months of December to February the quarry closes at 4.30pm)
Can I collect material myself?
Yes, the quarry is open for collection of material to both trade and the general public. Due to the size of our loading vehicles the smallest amount we are able to load in a single visit is 1 tonne.

Is there a minimum quantity of material I can have delivered?
No, we can deliver any quantity of material but a small part load charge will be incurred on loads below 10 tonnes for deliveries made on our short wheelbase four wheeler rigid lorry. Our small load service offers deliveries up to 1.5 tonnes.
Can I collect samples of materials?
Yes, samples of all our stocked materials are available free of charge.
What are the fill quantities per cubic meter?
Typically limestone products require 2 tonnes per cubic metre. This figure increases slightly for gravel and soil products to 2.5 tonnes per cubic metre.
What size gravel would you recommend for driveways?
We would recommend a gravel of no smaller than 14mm, anything less than this can get stuck in the tyre treads of vehicles.
